Bentley and Willis Thompson held their wedding celebration on a warm summer day on Bentley’s family farm in Georgia, where her grandparents live!
Bentley and I met through a summer internship a few years back. During that summer, we spent a handful of days at her grandparents farm in Watkinsville, Georgia and it was magical.
You know when a place clearly means so much to someone you love? And then getting to visit that place feels like a deep honor? Well this was juuuust that. We would pick blueberries, ride through the vineyards, and sit around the house chatting with her family. Bentley raved about her grandparents and their farm all the time, and it took about thirty seconds to see why once you arrived.
As if my friendship with Bentley couldn’t get any better, last year she asked me to come back to the family farm and document her and Willis’ wedding celebration. I gave my easiest YES and it was on. I knew this day would be special beyond belief, and it was.
Keep scrolling to see more of this celebration filled with their favorite people, wildflower bouquets made by the bride herself, and a confetti exit to top it all off!
Documenting this celebration felt like coming home. I hope you enjoy scrolling through these moments as much as I enjoyed preserving them.
Bentley and Willis are the easiest people the celebrate. Seeing their community surrounding them and hearing all the toasts made it clear to me Bentley and Willis show up for their community in big ways. It was a true honor to be a part of the day dedicated to celebrating them!
