When Shiloe asked me if I wanted to fly to Portland with her to photograph an elopement, you can imagine I didn’t hesitate to say yes. It happened to be my one weekend off in the middle of a crazy few months, so I was stoked. I’ve loved getting to explore the PNW coast multiple times this year. A bonus is getting to go with a creative friend to document a super dope couple was a blast! The cherry on top of it all was getting to stay with my friend Alli (the picture above is the view from her bedroom!!!)!
These first few photos are from an engagement session we did together at Cape Kiwanda the day before the elopement! Shi and I actually almost died when we were standing on a cliff and a literal 100ft+ wave came up and drenched us. We can laugh now because we survived hahah
This next set of photos are some highlights from the elopement!!! Getting to second shoot this with Shi was so fun!! It really was. I was freezing and slowly dying (bc I’d rather be in 103º weather lol) BUT it’s always sweet celebrating incredible couples with friends.
Fun fact: Shi and I were the only witnesses, so we signed their marriage license!!! So honored.
The day after this elopement, I jumped on a plane and flew from Portland, Oregon to Washington, D.C. to meet Audrey for a micro-wedding! Ahh! Seriously the best weekend.
These next photos are a few highlights from my time second shooting with Aud!
Thanks for being here!
